Vinyl is the most popular fence we install in Middletown and the Town of Wallkill. It gives you full privacy, never needs painting or staining, and holds up to Orange County winters without rotting or splintering.
Vinyl fence styles
- Full privacy — solid panels, typically 6 feet tall, for backyards and property lines
- Semi-privacy — lattice or spaced tops that let some light and air through
- Picket — classic front-yard look, usually 3 to 4 feet tall
- Post-and-rail — open ranch-style fencing for larger properties
Colors range from white to tan, gray and wood-grain textures.
Built for freeze and thaw
Winter ground movement is what pushes fence posts out of line. We set posts deep enough to resist frost heave, reinforce gate posts, and hang gates so they still close properly after a few winters.
Vinyl vs. wood
Wood costs less up front and has a natural look, but it needs staining or sealing every few years. Vinyl costs more to install and very little to maintain. If you don't want fence chores, vinyl usually wins. Compare with our wood and cedar fences.
Vinyl fence FAQ
Does vinyl fence crack in the cold?
Quality vinyl is formulated for cold climates. A hard impact in deep cold can crack a panel, but a damaged section can usually be replaced without redoing the whole run.
How do I clean it?
A garden hose and mild soap handle most dirt and mildew. A soft brush takes care of the rest.
Do I need a permit?
Many towns require one, and rules on height and placement vary. We help you check the requirements for your address before installation.
